Clements, Doug - Winnipeg - 2006

I moved to Winnipeg last July from Accra. Currently living in Ft Richmond, just about 10 minutes from Larry Gompf.

I wanted our daughter to finish high school in Canada to prepare herself for probably attendance at a Canadian university and for my wife to obtain Canadian citizenship.

I am semi-retired. Fortunately, I won two long term contracts with CIDA which is probably what you found on the internet. One is for 6 years monitoring two projects in Ethiopia and the other is a job as an assessor for a budgetary support project in Ghana.

I have been doing a lot of travelling this year and already have been to Malawi, Ghana and Ethiopia and will probably go to Ethiopia again this month. After that, hope to have the summer off.

I am enjoying life here in Winnipeg. I work out of my house which is a change from going to an office every day for the past few decades.
